Uh oh I’m starting to get attached to female shion, I think I just really like girls with that personality, but I want rui and dude shion to do butt stuffヽ(`Д´)ノ
And why is everyone so cute? yukki, that depressed dude, all the girls and now a new character has been introduced and he’s cute too!? Please my heart can’t get attached to anymore characters (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Maybe if the mc was different I would like this a little more, it feels all to focused on Ryeojoon because not only is he shipped with the other three members a lot within that universe and has two or more people fighting over him, it’s also mainly his POV I guess. Don’t get me wrong, he’s adorable, but if he were more of a second or third main character like Dohyun or Siwoo the story would feel more balanced. I feel this way cause he’s so different from the other members cause he’s like the “baby” of the group, so he already stands out in that regard, he’s also the main character, but that’s more in the start of the story anyway. Idk I just feel like too much is revolving around him
I’m tired of seeing people criticize this work because it is a romanticization of rape and abuse. IF IT WAS A ROMANTICIZATION, THERE WOULD BE ROMANCE. I fully believe that people who don’t acknowledge the deeper meaning of this story, aren’t capable of being empathetic. This story wouldn’t hit home if it ended with Minho leaving for good and living happily. That harsh hitting feeling of loneliness that people feel when they have nothing is so clear in the writing. I love this work because I cry to it, I feel how the characters feel. OBVIOUSLY Wookyung is a horrible person, and he became a horrible person because of how he was raised and his life experiences. Through the Minho’s suffering he was forced to see the reality. I’m never going to sympathize with Wookyung as a person, but redemption is always better than nothing at all. Seriously, if you hate this work JUST for the obvious, then you have a lack of literacy. Why read a psychological if you don’t like psychological? Of course, everyone has an opinion, I just wish more people expressed the deeper emotional meaning of this story and the fact it resonates that emotion so well. Well, thanks for reading my long rant.
WELL SAID
MEDIA LITERACY IS LONG DEAD
drives me up the wall, this is well made because it ISN'T romantic. It is tragic.
Minho going back is more tragic than him dying, this whole thing is horrible because it's meant to be horrible.
Grief.
