ML knew that MC was a boy. He found out when MC was drunk at the hotel and he called him HUYNH. The night they drove to the hospital to see the grandfather one last time before he passed, they got into an accident. ML shielded MC from the impact and got badly hurt. ML's family was angry and told MC he needed to leave before ML woke up. ML was in critical condition and has not woken up yet. MC asks ML's brother if he could see ML one more time and say goodbye but the brother says no, he can either choose the money or his brother. (Refer to the flashback with the brother). MC had no choice since it was his family and he really needed the money. When ML woke up, he asked to see MC but his family told him that he did not make it in the accident. ML kind of knew his family was lying but a part of him blamed himself as well. He searches for the MC everywhere. One day he drove into a lake and his family thought he was trying to k**l himself but it was actually just an accident. He lost his memories and his family thought it was best that he didn’t remember anything so they tried to hide everything from him. Remember when MC tried to call ML on the phone? The day that MC's mom passed? Yeah, ML lost his memories at that time so he couldn’t recall who it was but that call triggered something in his memories. So he began searching again. He didn’t know what he was searching for but he just knew he had to find that person. ML regains his memories on the trip they took to the grandfather's house when they went to pack things up. The ring that he left on top of the diary was to test MC because he knew how important that ring was. He knew that MC would never let that ring be thrown out and he was right. ML family is mad and will try to break them up again. MC went to talk to the ML family alone. BAMMM, ML to the rescue. Before his grandfather passed, he left something behind for ML. This whole time, the grandfather also knew that MC was a boy!!!! The grandfather told ML that if anything happened, he left something behind for ML to use against the family. (Remember when they were in the room together and talking? That's what they were talking about). ML and MC left the family house. They have a happy ending. They move in together, they go to MC’s brother’s graduation. I was waiting for the side story but they took it down. But y’all they do a lot of lovemaking in the novel which we will see in the mature version. Thank the lord for the mature version. The manhwa follows the novel to the T. Word for word. 1000/10, best Korean novel I’ve ever read and best manhwa ever.

Since I saw a lot of people asking for spoilers I will share whatever I remember.

YOOSUNG KNOWING TRUTH
Yoosung already knew that Hakyung was a man. He knew this from when they went to the restaurant in ch 30. Yoosung already had suspicions before but when Hakyung was drunk he talked in "male" pronouns ig like "hyung" etc so Yoosung confirmed he was a man. So yes he liked Jiyoung knowing it was Hakyung pretending to be her.

GRANDPA KNOWING TRUTH
When his son brought like 1/2 fakes grandpa already had suspicions so he made his own men investigate what happened to his friend and her granddaughter so he aready knew Jiyoung had died. He still softened upto Hakyung and kept him by his side because he knew he must have been someone close to her knowing how much he knew about her. So yes grandpa knew the truth the whole time too.

YOOSUNG'S 1st ACCIDENT
What happened was the grandpa fell ill and hospitalized so Hakyung's "role" as Jiyoung was coming to an end and before leaving, since he truly liked Yoosung, he was about to tell him the truth. But before he could they had to rush to the hospital cuz grandpa's health was failing so to say goodbye to him. During their way to the hospital the car crashed. When Hakyung woke up, Yoosung was still in a coma and grandpa had died so they both couldn't say bye to him at the end and Yoosung's father told Hakyung to go now telling they will tell Yoosung he died in the crash. They also made him leave their engagement ring behind.

YOOSUNG'S 2nd ACCIDENT
When Yoosung woke up he asked where Hakyung was and his family told him he died and he was like bullshit and tried searching for him for many days. Even when he was still recovering he drove to the villa to find clues which Hakyung may have left but when Yoosung's father gave him the ring he believed Hakyung died. He thought Hakyung would never take off the ring even when leaving so this meant he had really died he drove off but the car failed having an accident from which he was saved. NOTE THAT IN THE NOVEL IT'S HEAVILY IMPLIED THAT THE ACCIDENT WAS POSSIBLY YOOSUNG ALSO TRYING TO K*LL HIMSELF. So he lost his memory and when Hakyung called him in ch21, he had already lost them.

MEMORY RECOVER
Ok so basically what Yoosung saw in the box in ch 41 which made his expression strange was the engagement ring he gave to Hakyung in the past. It made him remember all the above things so from ch 42 onwards he remembers but isn't telling Hakyung cause he is scared he will leave.

WHERE TO READ THE NOVEL
There is no full translated version. Even I don't remember where I read it cuz it was almost 1 year ago I just typed the name on Google. So I am sorry I can't help there so I tried to summarize the best way possible. Some of the details here and there may be a bit off due to memory lol but basic story is this.
