Nah, they never actually talked about it, and we're just kind of meant to assume that he felt neglected. Which, to be fair, he WAS neglected if his boyfriend of three years didn't even know what he did for a living. But we get no indication that he ever tried to talk to MC about it, either, so I guess he just snapped and sent the text?
