Most of the times in shoujos I end up asking "why would the guy fall in love with the mc?". The heroine is supposed to be your reader surrogate but always end up generic and bland. This time, although the author is not doing anything new with Chitose, she really felt like an actual character starring in her story. While Itsuki taking interest in her felt a bit forced at the start, him falling deeper as the story progressed felt genuine and they end up being what each other needed.
Congrats on the author for finishing this, please continue writing good stories.
If a boy painted me like that I would have proposed to them right there on the spot. Gay marriage still illegal? Who cares, let's move to France, I've just booked the tickets: our flight is in 2 hours. Let's go.
I won't even pretend I understand anything anymore in the story. Just gonna continue looking at the pretty images waiting for those two to kiss or whatever
