why do some of yall USA people like to 'westernised' the characters' native names? like from eunsong to luke. this same things happened in 'dont pick up the soap' (kiwang to dick... like seriously tf). this westernising shit even happens in anime like yu gi oh (katsuya to joey) and digimon (yamato to matt and takeru to T.K). do yall fear foreigners/asians or what?
i usually read yaoi and wanted try reading shoujo for a change. but oh lord ive read 3 shoujo including this and i feel like cursing at the stupidly. like yeah its supposed to be light but its fucking.
one was a of a HS girl who forced her idea that dating a teacher (ML) is not wrong. its just the society perception. huh yea girl and your future hubby can go to jail you dumb bitch.
another was about a girl who was about to fail a grade, her sole purpose of studying was to be in the same class with her friends, not for the sake of the grade itself. i mean excuse me, so you'll just float wherever for your college as long as you'll be with your bestie?
then this manga. like tf, the ML didn't even commit crimes, he just refused to offer help. fuck in that shitty butler wanna report you to cop he's the dumbass. he's the one who should be reported for invading a person's privacy. dumb fucker. oh yeah i didnt even finish ch2
I mean why would you compare shoujo and yaoi? It’s completely different genres. There are shitty shoujo and there are shitty yaoi too. I would recommend you to read shoujo that’s popular since there are so little of a good shoujo that is underrated. The age-gap shoujo rarely be readable. If you I this type I would recommend Tsubaki-chou Lonely Planet. I think it’s the best age-gap shoujo out there.
As someone who been reading both genre for a long time, shoujo arent meant to be super realistic and neither is yaoi. Shoujo FL usually goes with what the heart say, and its really meant to make you feel light... don't hate a genre when you aren't open to it (yaoi or shoujo). Then you'll always find faults. HOW DARE YOU END IT LIKE THATTT
