I myself have never had a one night stand, but I think the lonely people who have one night stands do that because it makes them feel less lonely at the moment. But I suppose that you might be right about them being more lonely in the end because even though having a one night stand might bring them temporary fulfillment it will not last forever. I also believe that not all people do not have one night stands because their lonely, but because they want something else. I hope this helped, but I've never had a one night stand and I'm not sure of people who do have one night stands feel about that but it's my opinion. (●'◡'●)ﾉ

It was way more honest than my serious relationships so far then, you are not really looking being"less empty" at least it was not my case... If it's agreed with both parts involved it shouldn't be any problem. It also happened once we then fell in love and it was really awkward to start dating after that...
