I’m relieved that they’re finally back together but this break up hit a little too close to home to the point that my anxiety levels spiked. I say that I’m relieved for them but if this was in real life I wouldn’t know what to feel about it.
It’s just that when you’ve experienced a problematic relationship before, you understand the saying “Red flags look green when you’re in love”.
I mean okay I get the plot and all. ML was abused and was basically born with hatred engraved in him. Though somehow reasonable when you take his reasonings into account, it won’t excuse his wrong doings (esp in the orig plot). But honestly the way things are going, it’s exhausting to keep up. I know the characters are in a dilemma but not even a single thing is going in the right direction right now, NOTHING.
1. ML is SO misunderstood and targeted by his mom
2. FL is freaking the hell out and doesn’t understand ML at ALL
3. Blonde knight is conflicted as hell (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
4. Alice literally sees so many death flags (including hers)
5. The 4 of them are surrounded with awful rumors
I mean??? What the flagging hell is going on ( ̄∇ ̄")
I don’t understand how people are irritated at the fact that she’s a weakling that only relies on the prince. She’s literally 16 years old, unlike the MC who was already an independent adult. She had no one other than the prince to rely/trust hence believed in him blindly.
Think about it carefully, you literally got summoned to another world w/ no way back. You were dependent on your parents, a highschooler. This other world has a different culture and she only had that idiotic prince as her guide/mentor/protector unlike MC who had so many OP characters by her side (fiancé of the crown prince, head for research, Mr. McDreamy head of the 3rd division, etc). Would you find it reasonable to go against your only ally and trust his fiancé that potentially holds ill will like the other girls who went after you?
And for the record I’m not asking for a debate, I just wanted to throw in Aria’s perspective.
I get that the plot is the FL being the damsel in distress, but at this point we might as well just treat the ML as the MC. All that FL does is cry, be depressed, and have cheesy moments with the ML. It’s already been 20 chapters and I guess what’s frustrating here is the lack of character development. I hope the following chapters show that she is stronger because I don’t feel like giving up yet since the story has potential.
