Reading all the comment about Masato's ex being beaten up by Asahi sounds great. But I personally think it would be better if his ex showed up mature and apologetic about his past treatment of Masato.
It would great if people were protrayed more realistically than dramaticially. How wonderful would it be for Masato's character to know that his first love was an asshole but his ex acknowledged it and came apologise even after so long, just as Masato held onto that wound for 10 years. That's closure.
Showing that people can grow up and change themselves accordingly to circumstances. I mean his ex is a dad to a 9 year old. Even Asahi showed his maturity with his ex wife's interaction, even though in the prequel he did say it took time to get over that grudge.
This is a personal opinion, but it would be nice if the story broke the mould with cliched "reentrance of the ex". ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
Yunifer doesn't befriend Rael because she was the reason for her death, I get that. But here Yunifer is dating Ishid who is a cause of her death. Yunifer died in the past for obsessing over Rael's boyfriend (Ishid) and bullying Rael. So why is the author half assing her relationship with Rael but going full throttle with her relationship with Ishid. Logically speaking she should be avoiding both of them if she really fears death. I mean her obsession with Ishid is the root cause of her death.
I feel so much for Rael right now, she suddenly lost her friend and doesn't know why. The characters in this story need to communicate.
This is such an awesome story and it would be a shame to leave the female leads in a misunderstanding like this, and they are both great girls.
I mean the main reason Yunifer doesn’t want to be with Rael is because Yunifer doesn’t feel as safe as she does with Ishid.
I mean if you were killed by a ladder you would avoid it right?
So it only makes sense Yunifer wants nothing to do with Rael since she’ll be the reason she’ll die in the first place—
The one who actually killed her was not Ishid but the prince which is Real's ex boyfriend. On the actual story line her character loved Ishid so much she end up harrasing/bullying Real and then the prince killed her because of this. So basically she is avoiding Real now because of the prince.
She had originally planned to avoid Ishid aswell but they happen to met again and ended up on bed and if your on her position would you actually be able to say no to Ishid when he said like you both to be together (i know i won't hahaha)
Yes I know that ishid didn't kill her. But the root cause of her death was her obsession with Ishid. Rael didn't kill her. She was killed by the prince for "bullying/abusing" Rael. Rael was innocent and still is. So she gave Ishid a chance, but wants to avoid Rael, this doesn't add up. Her avoiding the prince, totally get that.
Honestly , the author should have portaryed guilt instead of fear to reason Yunifer distancing Rael. They where bestfriends, but Yunifer's obsession turned her malicious towards Rael. The guilt and shame of hurting her bff would make more sense than Yunifer being scared of Rael. Rael did nothing to Yunifer the whole time so I truly don't get why she feels unsafe with Rael (except for her relationship with the asshole prince, which she broke off). So its frustrating to see her avoid Rael to prevent her death, but she's involved with Ishid who was the starting point of it all. Do you get where I'm going with this?
The thing is, Yunifer was avoiding both Rael and Ishid from the start. She just got unexpectedly entangled with Ishid so she rolled with it for now; she's planning to back off as soon as the 'plot' starts. Meanwhile she's still actively avoiding Rael as much as possible since thats what she's been doing from the get go. It's not that hard. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
is it though? I get you, but the fact is that she could have gotten rid of Ishid after their entanglement if she kept being bitchy as she is to Rael, but she didn't because she felt sorry for him. You guys make it seem like theres no way she could have gotten out of it. She could have, but chose not to. So author-san's portrayal of Yunifer is really wishy washy. If she's going to 'roll with it' she should be be friendly to Rael who's now involved in her field of work and ease off when the 'plot begins' but instead she is setting clear boundaries with Rael basically asking her back off. Ok fine. But then the next scene is Yunifer showing the relationship she has with Ishid to Rael. Like WTF, thats makes no sense for a character like Yunifer who 'very cautious of the plot' acting like this. Like Ishid did just show up out of the blue, so a plot cautious Yunifer logically would try to get rid of him quickly as possible or downplay the situation. But in this case Yunifer actually states she completely forgot about Rael when Ishid showed up. Makes no sense. Basically what im trying to say is that her character is contradictory. Simple
I love Yunifer and Ishid, noway hating on them. I also love the story.ヾ(☆▽☆)
True ( ̄へ ̄)
Wow things u say actually make sense.... Like if have gone naturally with the plot but u made me so and think it over lol thx
haha sorry, honestly I love this story, but for sometime, its been rubbing me the wrong way. ╥﹏╥
This is exactly what I thought! I thought I'm the only one who feel weird with this setting
Not only that, I don't understand why Rael keep chasing Yunifer too. Based on the flashback, it's not like both of them are close
I think the MC was the only true friend Rael had so she wanted to stick to her. Also I agree I feel weird reading the story it like something's isn't right and it's kind of missing something but I just can't figure out what it is?
Yes! I feel like that too. Like there's something missing
But the present story didn't even develop their friendship, that is Yunifer has been actively avoiding Rael in this life from the beginning. So Rael still chasing after Yunifer doesn't make sense ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
