I saw raws, but I don’t read Korean, so my take on the following chapters is this:

- the messenger explains that shell have a reward AND that the emperor will also look for her attacker

- the empress gets ready for her meal the next day and the emperor visits her. He keeps blushing so the playboy personality of the empress comes out and she imagines him lying down, half naked and looking all flushed and embarrassed as if he was the sub in their relationship. That makes her drool over (like a pervert, lmao) but then she realizes the emperor didn’t come to sleep with her, just to have a hug. Let’s just say she’s very disappointed by that, but they hug for a long time anyway (while she still imagines herself ravishing him like he’s some kind of virgin (which he is anyway)).

-emperor returns to his throne and is very pleased with the visit (prepare yourself for a lot of blushing)

- one of the maids who was listening in on the conversation between the hugging emperor and empress reports back to lady Lyn who wasn’t smiling about it

- the empress prepares to step out of the “castle” to go in the city and she dresses up with a stylish, but tomboyish outfit, which her head maid disapproves of. I wonder if that was her reward though.
