I've been comparing screenshots for the last half hour and I think we've never seen the brother in person. their faces are p much the same but he has a harder jaw and no part in his hair (it could have just been styled like that for the portrait) while Anna and the marquess we've met don't have the same hard angle in the jaw and the hair is always parted in the same place as Anna

That's what I mean by fixing him (you can't fix people, but that's the best phrase I can come up with). Also with the 8-grade syndrome thing, I mean the way he's acting after being isekai'd. A normal person would understand that you can die in that place. She's being way more realistic in trying to find the most "normal" life she can without causing trouble or getting involved with the wrong people. He needs to learn that mentality from her.
