I was wondering if there was a second volume since the first volume ended without them seeing their parents, and I am glad I checked. While I understand how the uke could have communicated better, I understand his feelings of not wanting to be rejected by his partner. Overall, I am glad they were able to become a family somehow (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

So basically Aoi (the black haired boy) was killed and SA’d by the old sussy grandpa who is another tenant in the apartment. It happened because Aoi told Fukuta to come to their secret spot later after he hangs out with his friends (but he like forgot) and then afterwards Aoi went missing. Fukuta after hearing this news is heart broken and tries to desperately find Aoi and accidentally slips into the river. He barely survives but afterwards he totally forgot Aoi and erases the incident from his memory until he sees Aoi again in the apartment. Also, if you are wondering why Aoi is in the apartment, he basically died there and remains as a ghost which is why he’s stuck in his juvenile state. (Backstory: Aoi had a pretty bad situation at home and was forced to study hard by his mom and he was really stressed about it so having Fukuta’s company really helped him a lot. After he seems Futuka get along with other kids he starts to feel isolated again and foolishly follows the old grandpa to be away from his home which was like after he sees that their secret spot was destroyed. As you can expect the old grandpa did not had pure intentions on providing shelter for Aoi.) Fukuta after piecing everything together found out what happens and kills the old grandpa and finds Aoi’s remains in the cookie box in the apartment closet and brings it back with him to their hometown (I believe). This all unravels gradually, but I thought it would be nice for people to know what happens if they are curious. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I bought the manga online through this website https://www.cmoa.jp/title/184084/ but it’s all in Japanese fyi
After reading many shoujo reincarnation mangas, this one by far is one of the best ones. An FL that is calm and reasonable, and the ML that is loyal to the FL and tries to understand her story about her past life and the game. Also, I love that the FL talked it out with the ML and died while she was 10 years old instead of a teenager or young adult since those are so common and sort of cringy. Either way, I’m looking forward to seeing how this progresses, and hopefully, we can see some nice moments between the two. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧It
After nonstop reading to finally reach such a conclusion, it just broke me down to tears. I deeply related to Aoyama-kun’s situation as I also experienced a moment of tragedy that trapped me into a world of darkness. However, due to my friends, teachers, kind people, and works like these, I eventually went to the light. Still, while this was a masterpiece of a read, I wish we could have seen a glimpse of his growth and everyone’s journey. However, I am sure as the loyal reader we are; we can all see that they will undoubtedly face their hurdles and overcome them to reach another captivating, content next step.
So... I can’t totally forgive her for ruining Taeso’s career, health, and reputation since she really did the most terrible things. Still, I think it was best she was trying to redeem herself by living honestly. Killing or torturing herself doesn’t do any good and in fact will hurt Taesoo’s happiness from the guilt of possibly hearing her death over the news. And I think that her first step to put back herself in servicing herself for others is something that is redeemable for the most part. While she certainly hasn’t gained back herself, it is better that she is trying and not bothering Taesoo’s happiness anymore.
I feel like the yellow cat, Taro disappeared. Maybe I skipped some detail, but Taro literally got forgotten. (/TДT)/
