The MC is obsessed with people liking her like an idiot and why the hell would you follow someone who wanted to kill you, into an alleyway KNOWING HE CAN MIND CONTROL PEOPLE TO KILL YOU. Shes so obsessed with being their friend, she doenst even care ab them, she just wants them to like her. And why is no one talking ab how when she got confessed to, which was horribl!e timing btw, she treated it as validation that "yup this is how it should be " and treated his confession as a case study success that everyone does like me. What an inconsiderate idiot. Like shes so annoying I dont mind if she dies but then that blue haired bastard would get his way and I DONT want that. But let's talk ab him for a sec.

A good story has room for character development... they don't have to likeable or perfect from the start. Of course it'd be an awful story if non of the characters issues get addressed and sorted out.
