Yea the seme feels the pain and gets the hurt on to himself, but I think it only works when the uke is hurt as in getting a cut or something along those lines, where it leaves a mark I guess would be a good way to say it. Just having pain I don't think the seme gets that. Though I could be wrong, it's just from how I have read it, it seems like he needs a bit more than just pain to pass it on to the seme.
