Everybody that reads these mangas/webtoons have to somewhat like this type of love interests in fiction because after the first one of this kind we all know what type of story we are getting into, despite people complaining about fucked up theses characters are, they keep reading. So I don't think it's odd that you still like him, just don't go for people like this in real life and it's good.

And what all these types of stories have in common is that the abusive love interests don't become better people because their violent traits are framed as a sign of their superiority and a few chapters in a sign of their desire for the main character. So yeah, continuously reading these works means you are somewhat okay with that in fiction despite (valid) protests
