IKR, Kagami ALWAYS needs to have women being humiliated or r*aped, he thinks he is edgy but is just gross.
don't know enough about his other works to say for sure personally, but it doesnt surprise me!
he does mikas and yuus dynamic and relationship really well but seems to fall short with pretty much every other character

All his other works are similar in a lot of aspects and that is one of them, he is also a big fan of Devilman, a manga that also likes to be "edgy" in that kind of way, in fact, I saw devilman recently and I can see he got inspiration from there.
that's a real shame honestly
