There’s literally no one to root for in this fight as they’re both aholes. But I’d say the bald guy is just a tad bit worse than Jaekyung since his team uses underhanded tricks. I hate that even the coaches who are always kind to Kim Dan were a little harsh to him, like I get why they were frustrated, I just hate the fact that Kim Dan who is innocent is getting blamed for the injury.
Did the author really just add that r@pe scene to gain sympathy for the red-head? Are you kidding me, rn? Author should’ve never given red-head a side story and redemption arc in the first place. I’m sure in a few chapters he’ll be all sorry to Suha and somehow everything’s going to become water under the bridge bc he got a taste of his own medicine. From the start, author should’ve just brought in a new character for Siwoo to get with. Villains should stay villains and rot in jail at least in fiction bc lord knows way too many criminals get away with their crimes in reality.
i’m into the friends to lovers trope where they seem to secretly like each other but are too scared to say it. so i thought this was a cute read for like the first 12 chapters or so but then towards the middle, the MCs started dragging good people into their mess and unnecessarily hurt them in the process of navigating thru their feelings. i know that’s actually quite realistic but damn, i’m not into realistic stories and those who became collateral damage def deserve better.
I can’t get my head around the ML killing so many people (were some of them innocent?) so I can’t exactly support his happiness like I keep holding myself back from feeling happy for him but after reading some spoilers here, it seems all the people he killed may have been involved in torturing him in the past? Guess I’ll stick around for the big reveal of the emperor’s past.
