I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that this manhwa is one of my current obsessions, I really wish I had the funds to support the artist, but I'm broke and my country's currency is devalued. And fuck they even mention bossa nova in here, I haven't seen manhwas portrait anything from Brazil respectfully before (if ever) and it fills my heart with so much joy. If you've never heard it before, seriously give it a try, Bossa Nova it's a Brazilian cultural treasure. I recommend João Gilberto's "Desafinado", "Corcovado" (which was even mentioned by Yeonny's mom┗( T﹏T )┛) and "Chega de Saudade", Tom Jobim's "Pela luz dos olhos teus", and Elis Regina's "Águas de Março". There's so much more, and it's seriously something that makes us brazilians proud. Other than feeling represented because of bossa nova in a comic set in the Korean fifties even though I'm a 21yo brazilian man, the artist really got the environmental feeling going on strong, its very detailed and makes you really submerged into the age written, the houses, uniforms, dialogs and about everything make it seamless, almost like I'm there fr. And not only this, but the they also explore an amazing plot device of time travel spectacularly, without missing any development into the characters emotional state while keeping the suspense and mystery going on. I'm seriously in love with this.
