this manhwa has very well built plot and characters! At first we all thought Allen was going to be the lovable partner to Tia . Second he became too obsessive and because of that done some really bad deeds. Third he's making us cry leaving like that. Such a bittersweet character development isn't itTvT? He will remain in my heart as the sweet and intelligent weed-head that Tia first met forever

It's actually a very deep and unique story. It's very well-crafted and is much better at portraying Ayanokoji than the manga. For the manga they wanted to show us more of what Ayanokoji was thinking about. Since in the anime it is a bit difficult to figure out what he's thinking with his collected expression that he has all the time. And in the novel you can't SEE him in action, you can only read his expressions and thoughts and just use your imagination to try and see what he MIGHT look like. So for the manga they went more a more expressive Ayanokoji, because they wanted us to see just how much more advanced he is compared to everyone else. They wanted us to feel what he feels and know what he thinks with our own eyes. The NOVEL is definitely more deep, when it comes to the characters and storyline, but the ANIME is more exciting cause it's in action, buttt we do SEE more of Ayanokoji in the MANGA. They wanted us to have 3 different experiences but still have the same excitement we had for the anime. The anime was just a boost to get people to read the novel, then soon manga. It is a very unique story and I don't think I've seen any anime or manga that has the same effect as Classroom of the Elite.

No problem! I'd love for all the people who enjoy watching and reading this story to also enjoy the novel and have 3 different experiences but have the same excitement for them all! It's a really cool experience and i'd love for everyone to get a chance to feel the same thing!

Yes I also agree! They wanted Ayanokoji to be a mysterious yet exhilarating character and I do believe the anime did the perfect job. Although, the manga wanted to show more of what Ayanokoji was thinking behind the scenes. The novel wants to describe more of the storyline and plot they have in mind and fully let you know all the details.

Hm.. I'd say.. for me it was towards when ayanokoji and Kikyo had that moment where she revealed she had a split personality and threatened him. Then it started reeling you in, y'know? But after that they had to do stuff and it became a bit slow again. But when it became time for their "exam' on the beach, THAT'S what made me more interested. I found it smart how they crafted it in the way they did

    [SPOILER]

In the light novel, Kei and Ayanokoji's relationship was much more complex than showed in the anime and manga. In the beginning [also like the anime and manga] Kei didn't think much of him, because he was 'unremarkable', despite not having anything against him, really. She was actually bullied for the past 9 years or so and that is why she has a cold attitude towards other's most of the time. Soon after, it was discovered that Hirata and her relationship was FAKE. After he heard that, he blackmailed her to aid him in his schemes but in exchange will protect her from being bullied. Later on it tells how their bond grows closer and feelings develop. In volume 6 [if i remember] it tells how she has feelings for Ayanokoji. By this time Ayanokoji regularly deletes texts he gets from others who are of no use to him. Although, he keeps the texts of people whom he still needs to use. Kei is one of those people who he hesitates to delete texts. Kei was one of the first people to celebrate his birthday, and in the light novels it shows that he also took into account to celebrate hers. Volume 7 [i think] Ayanokoji decides to cut ties with Kei because then, he had no reason to reach Class A. It turned out he actually couldnt get expelled from the school because both his father and teacher has nothing against him. But later on, Ayanokoji changed his mind about Kei and although she is valuable to use for his advantage, that was the SECOND IMPORTANT thing about her, the FIRST is that she was his. Despite his view on her at the beginning, he came to genuinely care for her as he protected her from violence from others. In the epilogue of volume 11.5 Ayanokoji declares his love for her and she accepts.

You should really read the light novel including its "side stories" and epilogues. Because their "side stories" arent actually "side stories". They are important information about the story's development and more about Ayanokoji and his past. It really is a story like no other!

I hope you found this useful!
