seoha refuses to see yul for who he is, he only sees what he wants to see. gongju not only sees yul for who he is but accepts him flaws and all. I don't care about the actually ending, it's a gongju endgame in my heart!
prev comment I left on this series: "this is definitely a porn without plot (or very little plot) kind of read, so I'm trying to take it for what it is, but I'm really not sold on Seoha. He's emotionally manipulative and literally gaslighted and raped Yul by having sex with him while he's asleep and can't consent. He acts like he's protecting Yul from Gongju, but really he only has his own best interest in mind while Gongju is the one who looks out for Yul. Gongju isn't perfect, either, but he clearly knows Yul very well and cares deeply about him despite acting cool and aloof. Yul and Gongju have chemistry, they're friends and have rapport, and while normally I can get down with a 3p story, I find myself wishing this was a Yul and Gongju endgame."
so yeah, Seoha can go screw himself!

The ending felt a little anticlimactic, I thought the day counter would be leading up to some big event. I guess we just have to assume there's a lot of internal work being done offscreen to work through their respective traumas. That aspect of it disappointed me, but overall I thought it was a beautiful read.
I loved this one. The exploration of trauma in this story is so well-conveyed. I imagine some will find it a frustrating read--especially the ending--but the path to recovery isn't linear, and he has to work on himself before he can be a good partner to someone else. To me it feels honest, poignant, and at the end of it all, hopeful.
redhead dude is so smug, he's seriously irritating me. grow up and take responsibility for your actions instead of bullying others. if I had to guess how this is gonna go, sangwoo is gonna get sick/injured/otherwise breakdown because of this ongoing treatment/stress, and then redhead will feel bad and comfort him, help him, or....idk. it needs to be something big to redeem him in my eyes, though.
I just know whatever tragic backstory they're going to try to introduce for Jaekyung to excuse his behavior is gonna piss me off. To call the man garbage would be an insult to garbage.
