I'm currently reading ch. 19 and I can't bring myself to finish. I'm about to throw up. She really be forcing the guy to date someone who he doesn't even like because she "cares" about her future.
What's wrong with these FL in Webtoons that look for the most difficult solution out of the obvious? I really dislike this unnecessary forced drama.
Also didn't she hate that two-faced girl that caused her to transfer out because they got into an argument in the past. How generous of her to care now. She's so fixated on repeating the past even if it's for the worst. Is she also thinking of transferring out just to keep up with the past? How dumb is that. I can't bring myself to finish this because it's so frustrating.
Just finish it i think if you read ch. 27 or 28 you might get blush over it heheheheheeh
Yeah, I get that, but that shouldn't come at the price of their own happiness, I thought this should be common sense since she cares about others. The guy even said he doesn't have feelings for that girl and doesn't want to date her, but was forced into this relationship he didn't consent to all because he was being guilt-tripped by the FL, so I'm here like what?!!
I'm reading a lot of comments about the naive mother. However, she just got into the story and the kid has never shown any suspicious behavior in front of her. He even ate something he's allergic to because she offered. No one would think anyone would do something to purposefully harm himself. Because unlike his blunt father, this kid is two-faced and managed to get the mother to sympathize with him.
Also the training he's getting isn't realistic. It's not like she's overly dotting and stopped him from normal training, she only interfered when the training was risking his life. She's only showing what a normal person would show. She worries when he's sick and if he's getting harmed. What kind of person will she be if she didn't? Also the loving family concept a lot are brushing as irrelevant in his situation are forgetting that he himself seems to yearn for it and not just him, but the father as well - just that he still hasn't realized. The kid wants approval from his father and the attention of his mother and is willing to do things that could cost him his life for it. Her showing concern and treating him properly is really the way to go.
The ML is allergic to wearing clothes lol Anyway, this story was a surprise because I really dislike stories where the female lead is the empty head type and suddenly fall for a jerk male lead. However, when learning about her situation, the ML actually saved her from the hell she was living with the royal family, who only brought her just to sell her for power and treated her like trash. To the point she said being a slave was actually better than when she lived with them. So her seeing the ML as a none evil person is understandable.
Also the male lead is quite decent. He cares for the weak and innocent as well as his followers and despises those nobles hungry for power.
You hit the nail on the head. In the novel, the servants mistreated Chloe and her family never came to visit her. Even one of her sisters compared her to a big because she disliked her so much. She also expressed how much she hated being with her ex husband. Also, she talked about how she never saw her dad and her sisters as her family. Even though Chloe is a maid and a slave, you can tell she’s quite happy and grateful of her positions. Obviously, no one would be grateful for being a slave. But, her being a slave is a life that she knows very well and sees positive things about being slave. I don’t agree with it, but I can see why she’s happy being a slave.
I can't enjoy the story properly because I'm so confused about what's happening!
- When did he realize it's her? and when did she realize he did?
- What's with that whole scene at the market place with his friend?
- I don't get the whole scene with his friend, why was he so pissed at her? He hates commoners, why? Why did he want her to go away? What was he planning to reveal about her?
What did she mean when she said "I lied"?
Well from what I got from it, she knew when she was a baby ( the reason for being abandoned). He knew when she told him about having memories of the past life, but wasn't completely sure untill she said I'm tired of all the lies. His friend is mad cause he never wanted anyone but her past self and now he is paying attention to another girl , and he said she should leave if she is planning on hurting his friend, but when she mentioned helt - he knew she was his friends ex love and said he will tell him who she really is. She lied by saying she knew everything her family did cussing her to be killed with them.
They've kind of foreshadowed her being locked by the Marquis when her uncle wrote about the basement in his letter. I can already tell she'll be blaming herself for what happened here next and my heart is already breaking. I can't wait for them to get rid of her ex family once and for all!
Also that king is so useless he can't even decide on his son's own fiance and that Queen Dowager is a snake, she's the type of villain I hate the most, the one that hides in the shadows and has control over powerful people like chess pieces.
lol I knew there was some sort of misunderstanding, this is so funny xD and the ML's anti-social personality isn't helping clear it up, I can't wait to see her reaction when she finds out.
