why does the author always HAVE to add a short ending scene to show that one of them manipulated the other the entire time when it comes to these alpha-to-omega tropes? literally nothing would’ve changed about this story if that wasn’t added and it would’ve been so cute if it just remained a cute flashback of how haeyeong began to like inu in high school but no, let’s add this stupid and lazy last few panels to try and make the entire story sound mastermindy and plot twisty but it’s just plain cheesy.

i’m feeling a bit dry with this one. absolutely in love with the art but i’m unsure about how it ended like.. so much unresolved stuff.. tae’s relationship with his sister isn’t great even though they could’ve related to each other for their homosexuality? what the hell happened to the dad for beating up his son half to death and giving him DID? is there any closure for his first love who definitely also got trauma from watching his crush baring homophobic violence?
and overall, although maybe too sunshine and rainbows to hope for, it just doesn’t feel all the best that taejun and taeoh couldn’t recombine in the end. after all, they still were the same person originally but got his traits distributed into separate identities - one who hides parts of himself and the other is said parts that is being hidden.
i know it’s not that easy to “resolve” DID to a point where you don’t dissociate anymore, but this manhwa wasn’t all too realistic from the start so the ending just feels kind of empty when he wasn’t truly able to come to terms with parts of himself. i especially got a bit irked when dongjae consistently treated taejun and taeoh as separate people in a way where he wouldn’t be able to accept one over the other? like saying that he likes taejun’s personality over taeoh’s was like saying he doesn’t accept all of him as a person? i know in the end he ended up liking both but if it weren’t for taejun’s sudden romantic realization, what the hell’s dongjae going to do if taejun and taeoh on the off chance recombined? whoops, guess i only half-like you now cause i was only attracted to a specific set of your traits?
anyway, tangent over. i think i accidentally just binge read this thinking there was going to be more to address subplots further i did enjoy the characters! i just don’t know how to feel more content about this!
