You really don't know how to tell a story, don't you? How can there be a story when there isn't any problem or special encounters that can happen to the mc? If they were making fun of this "problem" then I see why you'd say it's "gross" or "disturbing" or "disgusting". Mind you that the author has their own plans. This story wouldn't be approved by their company if it were as messed up as that. And bear in mind that as messed up as this world is, there will always be those people with weird kinks and fetishes. And if you did in fact read the plot summary then you should have seen what was coming. Expect the unexpected, not trash the author's work just because you didn't like the genre.
