heonjae is a crazy psychopathic bitch, but I'd still peg him idgaf. he's a cutie patootie even though he's deranged <3
anyways I didn't expect jingi to have an eating disorder and suicide attempts. i think the surprise comes from the fact that he's been trying so hard to get out of prison, so how could he have also been trying so hard to die? even if he was just trying to make the workers' jobs harder, he still had to gamble his own life away, which can't have been an easy choice. in one way or another, he's still suicidal. which at the first chapter, i would've never guessed from him to struggle with
i still come back to this bc wow it's amazing, and even more, i really want this as a game. like fr fr. i want the abyss game (the 'fixed' ver where you're supposed to help abyss in the trials), i want the prison guard game, and i want this whole meta situation to be a game where they just go in many different horror games.
i feel like i've never seen any horror in BL that centered around games and i fuck with this heavy. usually in transmigration stories it's stuff like romance games, but i really, really like that this was a horror game AND specifically one of those strategic games where there's always a shortcut if you think hard enough.
realll. i feel especially the whole meta game narrative would work really well it this became a free to play gacha game. i am genshin trash, but the format works really well. it's free to play, but incentives to play. it's ALWAYS updating and the game is HUGE. but it's because it's being updated in real time and so far, there's not really an ending in sight. i think this would work really well if they wanted to keep making horror games that the MC in the game would have to keep solving.
if you go in thinking this is a comedy, you'll feel so much better. i have literally read this multiple times and i have always laughed so hard i cried. it's the artsyle, 3d shoes, high difference, etc. i can't emphasize how FUNNY it is and it's all unintentional lmaooo
terrible story, but great comedy
oh no it definitely is. i just think that in my opinion i really can't take it seriously because of the art and because of how exaggerated everything is. maybe i'm just desensitized, but these characters really seem like it's a satire of dark yaoi, i really can't take anything they do seriously lmao
the crazy part for me was that yusung kept having to go back in time because he never learned how to make a genuine relationship. and in the bonus chapters where it's the future where he gets hit with the DUI hit and run charge, EVERY single member was willing to meet yusung again and make a relationship with him again.
had yusung just reached out to them back then, his life would've drastically change. it's heartbreaking that something as simple as making relationships is what held him back this entire time.
and i KNOW they're trying to set up him and taewon but man i have such a soft sport for sinwoo and sangrok (especially sangrok). they all better be poly idc(TДT)/ and if i had to choose just one idc im choosing sangrok. i'm dying on this hill
ngl i kinda wish there was a story about the original mc (taemin) with woojin in high school. like i genuinely ended up liking yoon taemin for his original self, i think it would've been a great idea to have taemin in his original body go back to school. i also think it would've been a compelling story too, full of themes of hope and never-ending determination.
maybe have taemin randomly impliment him in the high school despite his lack of education for for bullshit reason. OR make him start where he left off and go through middle school and have his special tutor be woojin. i just really felt like it would've been a complete story without the body swap
