Yes he's a dick, but as we've seen he can actually be pretty nice without prompt. Going in place of Doc Dan to the hospital to spend time with his grandma, saving Doc Dan from those asswipes and paying off his debt, shit, allowing Doc Dan to stay in his home when he didn't have to. Someone had pointed out Dan knew exactly what he was agreeing to with Jaekyung, and I agree big time. It's not like Dan went in blind with merry expectations of sunshine and rainbows only to get knocked upside the head by an unexpected 180°. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Once again, yeesss Jaekyung is a dick, but I also believe he has a reason for being one, just like how Dan has a reason for his lack of confidence and inability to believe someone can like/love him in the romantic way. The author will either give a reason or they won't. i guess sure he has done nice things, but then again he held those nice things over dan's head and used it as an incentive to get dan to do whatever he wants. in most of these cases, he did those things because he had to or because someone pissed him off so he ends up indirectly helping dan, so remember his intentions are evil and solely for himself. i think that dan definitely did not know what he was getting into at first, he never imagined that he'd have to do any of this stuff because he thought it would just be sex. i'm sure jaekyung has a reason for being this mentally deranged, but not everyone is going to be convinced by it or like it because at this point the majority despise him and think he is irredeemable, which i agree.

So I have some theories from the chapters thus far. I could be very very very wrong but who else am I gonna discuss them with if not fellow readers hm?
I think Duke Weyton is the serial killer, the first time he appeared I felt something off about him and I think he drugged Loius as a way to finally obtain him but then Maetel got to him first without knowing the situation, which would explain why Louis remembers nothing from that night, the blank expression Maetel said he wore and his odd compliance. The Duke is killing people who look like Louis.
Maetel is intense and persistent but he's a good if lonely cookie, and I'm not saying he's not capable of horrible things but he loves Louis too much to hurt him, even dopplegangers of him.
I also believe that Maetel knows that Loius is pregnant but is prolly waiting for Loius to come to him and apologise for not contacting him that night. If anything Maetel is just toying with Louis as a form of punishment for having his feelings hurt from 4 months prior, he loves him yes, but mans is a cinnamon roll who is petty and could resolve this confusion with just a sentence. sigh (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I thought it was suspicious how the victims share the same characteristics with Louis.. First I was worried because I thought it was Maetel but then I couldn't see it and indeed Duke Weyton had this creepy aura around him....like a real yandere.... I was not sure about the not-remembering part but him being drugged by Weyton makes real good sense...sends shivers down my spine thinking what would have happened if Maetel didn't take Louis to the hotel instead.
