Okay I just reread this for the 2nd time and I’m sobbing. Back then when I read it for the first time about a year ago, I was just shocked and disgusted. Now, after rereading and crying from it, I realized how well-written it is. The ending just ugh. It’s terrible yet it shows such a message. And Maiko is a character we all need. It truly shows how fucked up people can cause everyone around them to be fucked up. As well as realistic grooming and pedoPhilia. You feel bad for all the characters tbh. And it shows no glance of true happiness or love, but Harada, once again, you’ve amazed me with your dark work.
