I never read Lookism, but if Nan Hao Shan Feng is a possible comparison, then yes, it does have the element of bromance between Jihan and Seonil. However, as their relationship isn't the main focus of this this manga, we can only see glimpses of their interaction from time to time, due to mostly focusing on Han Jihan's growth in the Abyss. (Abyss is what the martial arts manga would refer to as the murim)
