I actually really like that the story didn't gloss over Yuri's unaddressed problems as soon as things were "resolved" for Mr. Lee. Yuri still has fears of abandonment/neglect stemming from his family (and Mr. Lee), he's still deeply jealous, he's still affected by Mr Lee's alcoholism...
He's not being totally cruel to people around him or himself to quite the level he was before, but he's hiding his feelings in a new way and being even more manipulative to avoid direct confrontation. He's comfortable essentially engaging in self-harm to avoid facing his fears and, in his mind, to avoid being abandoned by Mr. Lee.
I really hope that he's able to get his issues addressed, either by Mr. Lee forcing the issue like Yuri did for him, or through some other means.

It's clear that Yuri has unresolved issues, but it's not like they come from nowhere. He already had problems feeling/being unwanted before what happened made his abandonment issues so much worse, and now Mr Lee came back late after drinking when he was a terrible alcoholic for most(?) of their time together.
Like, it's easy to pile on Yuri for still being messed up (even after helping Mr. Lee), but he still needs serious help.
Hilarious
