Because likely this was a translation error and that mc us actually an omega because the story is very obvious about it’s direction and the ml said that he doesn’t like omegas (when he probably meant that he’s just gay, since omegas in this world are majority of women) so the mc internalized it

I'm surprised everyone feels so bad for the wife. She knew ML was gay before they got together. He originally turned her down because of it. She told the bar owner that she was at least partially *glad* ML was still in a one-sided love with him because, even though it hurt her husband, it also kept ML married to her. Again, she **knows** he is gay. She just wanted to be with him anyway because she loves him. But, even if they are never alone, this marriage stops both of them from being able to be with someone who can actually genuinely love them back as a romantic partner.
I'm not saying she deserves what's going on. No one does. (...Maybe the bar owner.) This story is about how adults are foolish and make bad decisions, especially when they are in love. And **everyone** in this story does that.
I will say, despite everyone in this story hurting each other, I do love that the MC had the sense to stop things until ML resolved things with his wife. Because, even if ML didn't love her as a partner, he still cared for her and she was still there for him and loved him. He was also smart enough to realize that, other than love, he had nothing to offer ML. So, they each took time to get to a better place and begin their lives together properly.
i honestly don't understand why everyone is upset at the wife as if it's not a normal occurrence in reality??? she's literally a well written character that embodies empathy and took care of ML even after knowing he's gay like i'm actually in disbelief as to why everybody jumping her

Like, she was hoping Bandou would stay in a fruitless love 'cause then he'd have no reason to divorce her. It's why she's so panicked when she realizes that if Toshi is on the phone with her at that time of night, and Bandou isn't with Toshi, then that meant that he was off with someone she didn't know and that he was no longer tied down to someone who could never love him.
Also, let's be real for a sec. If you marry someone you know for a fact could never love you romantically-- let alone ever have sex with you lol-- then that's on you. You turned yourself into a beard with feelings lol
and there's nothing wrong with wanting something u can't have but are still greedy despite her own awareness. aren't most ppl like that tho? she's flawed when it comes to love plus it doesn't have to end as her being a beard with feelings when we can assume she'd probably moved tf on too but idk that's just me i guess
If it were me I would simply not marry someone who isn't attracted to me in any way other than being friends lol I would move on to someone else and wish the person I was previously crushing on the best in their endeavors.
I wouldn't marry the person, hoping that they never found true love so they would never leave me even tho literally nothing could ever come from us being married.
People were already calling Bandou a horrible person 'cause he was sleeping with other people while being married. It's only right that people be equally mad at her for pressuring him into marrying her and expressing that she wished he'd never fall in love so they would stay married.
if u say it like that obviously i wouldn't either but not everyone is gonna have the same mindset or evn smart enough to act the right way in any types of situations especially in this one bffr the only real villain here is the manager that's why i don't think miho deserves the hate AT ALL also which part did miho pressure bandou into marrying her? he said "i love her when i was hurt she stayed by my side and supported me" which clearly meant it wasn't one sided. bandou likes the idea of someone he can return to and miho gave him that safe place. i'm pretty sure when she said she was grateful he comes back to her everytime was because it was in the heat of the moment. like imagine being on the phone with the guy ur husband is cheating on u is the same guy that broke him in the first place??? obviously miho didn't like that like make it make sense
