Please, don't mind them, because I LOVED THE ARTBOOK, and i know how much time you put in it, and that is precious. We will never be able to thank you enough. But please, if you still want... keep posting things . KSB is never enough, every little thing makes my day (OMG, those interviews must be amazing, i wanna read them so much :D). And sorry to ask but why Takanaga-sensei wont work on Koisuru Boukun? Is she is taking a break from mangas, working on another manga or this is the normal time between the volumes?

Ignore the haters. I LOVED the artbook chapter. I've been buying the volumes when I can but some of them are priced incredibly high here in the states and getting any other items from Koisuru Boukun is near impossible. I completely appreciate the time and effort that went into the artbook chapter.

I second this. They do a shit ton of work to give people who can't read japanese a chance to read this stuff, FOR FREE.

I've never worked with Rayneism before but I'm part of a scanlation group and we do work our ^sses off. Most of us have either jobs, school, or families some of us have all three. We give up our free time and our groups spend money on raws and most groups pay for a website too. All of that has to be paid for out of our pockets unless someone wants to donate. Then add in the hours for translation, then the cleaning and redrawing, typesetting, proofreading, quality checking, and then loading the chapters to the sites for release. If all of these scanlation groups didn't exist then sites like this wouldn't exist. There wouldn't be English translations of most manga.

I too would like to give my thanks for your hard work. You just can't make people understand or realize that's it's not easy and requires a lot of time and patience.

KSB Vol 10 Plan Four Summary 1 of ?
This chapter begins with Senpai crashing onto the tile, only to look up to hear Morinaga’s worried voice.

“Are you alright? Can you stand”, Morinaga asks. The response Senpai gives is a confused one; his body flinches as Morinaga reaches for him, to assist him with standing, and his voice has no kind words as he yells, “Don’t touch me!”

As always Morinaga takes this abuse, a hostile environment brought on by Senpai’s inability to reconcile his attraction and love for Morinaga - a male homosexual, a type he is supposed to detest. Only after Morinaga returns to the bath, with a verbal reminder going back to the earlier chapter and their agreed on no-touchy-in-the-onsen rule, does Senpai realize his anger was misdirected.

He tries to explain how this is different, that it didn’t mean to come out that way, but as always Senpai’s bashfulness overcomes him thus a harsh, “It’s nothing!” is heard before he goes off to the showers. Morinaga sits in the bath confused, blushing like mad.

The next scene is Morinaga overthinking things as they leave the onsen area for their hotel room. “Just before, such anger… a mindfulness for a lack of support, and yet… He has no faith in me at all.” Senpai remains in silence as they walk, only for Morinaga to again question why Senpai said, “This is different” just moments before… After all, what possibly could Senpai have meant by this?

Has this trip been a failure? Morinaga doesn’t think so, though the up-and-down nature of Senpai and Morinaga’s emotional states, temperamental as always, has definitely caused stress. This bad atmosphere, it should be fixed, shouldn’t it? Beer to the rescue!

Morinaga, master of having no tact, offers to buy chilled beer from a passing vending machine in the hopes it shall relax them both. Morinaga’s attempt at a positive atmosphere comes off as pushy, Senpai is still pondering what happened in the Onsen after all, thus Senpai declines. This scene ends with Senpai telling Morinaga he is welcome to drink if he likes, but Moringa also chooses to abstain in the end as he has no desire to drink alone.

NOTE - in the Japanese Morinaga says the equivalent of having room for desert (or in this case beer). This phase is references later to mean… other … things…. <.<

SLAM

The door to their hotel room closes, and Morinaga questions Senpai’s “deep thinking [ 考え事 ]” If not deep in thought, maybe Senpai is in a bad mood? No, that’s not it, this situation just can’t be helped and maybe it’s time to go to bed.

“oi!”, Senpai speaks in a normal tone snapping Morinaga to attention, back to the hotel room they are sharing for one more night. A long speech from Senpai is translated below.

“About before there was… About the situation in the onsen. I shouldn’t have refused you.”

“To start with, you and I’s “Skinship” is borderline strange’ your physical bond with me is not the usual condition”

”You’re place such a large significance on it, isn’t that so?”

“For me, such a large significance is awfully startrling to me, and…”

“…So”

“I need to recognize how you are”

“It’s a result of your rejection, the complete denial your family pushed onto you, isn’t it?”

A startling realization, most likely mistranslated because it’s 12:40am, but important enough for Morinaga to response.

“Wha - “


“Wah - how understanding about this!”

“What do my parents bring to this discussion?”

“Those damn people and Senpai should not be confusingly mixed!”

Senpai don’t like that, so he responds next…

“If that’s the case…”

“You would be able to shake off this bitterness, and face their rejection of you!”

“Damn you, a human being appreciates and values things like “skinship” (bond between parent and child in this context) and thus reacts to it.”

“You’re so bitter!”

“Damn you - the confusingly mixed is you!”

“You go so beyond with your actions, you’re always ending up getting hurt! Do you not see?”

“End it!:

Only now does Morinaga realize this is one of the times Senpai is showing his feeling for him. He is allowing himself to be rallied up for Morinaga’s sake and Morinaga’s difficult circumstances.
