Such a great read!! i love stories that center around someone achieving their dreams especially in the entertainment industry like Skip Beat and to see how their character develops and grows. and the way the author describes the emotions and plays is just *WOW*. Definitely on the lesser of a focus on romance but watching her passion for screenwriting was plenty of excitement to keep reading! (⌒▽⌒)
I was worried I would get bored while reading this because the art is a little old but i actually really liked reading it because there was always something new happening that kept the plot exciting. I really love how haruka develops in her career and i love that it shows ups and downs. I also really love the interactions between characters as they slowly build bonds. But the male lead really frustrated me towards the end and i wish there was a different guy. but other than that i really enjoyed reading this (●'◡'●)ノ and the aspect of show biz really reminded me of skip beat
This manga had such a good story and loved the major character development of several characters. It really reminded me of Red River which I also loved. There’s just enough romance to keep you going but not so much where it drowns out the main plot. The only thing I wish was different was more epilogue chapters about mc and ml being together (▰˘◡˘▰)
so it says it’s completed but it’s not and i’m guessing it won’t ever get finished :( although i’m guessing we’re nearing the end anyways and i can make a guess abt what will happen. i really liked this story although it can be a bit confusing with all the names and countries. and the art gets so much better overtime ヾ(☆▽☆).
I had an all nighter reading this so i’m struggling to even keep my eyes open typing this but, i really wanted to write this right after reading. every single one of the relationships (not just the romantic ones) in the manga was toxic or unhealthy but i liked that. it showed the truth that love is not always perfect and doesn’t always workout which i think makes the title extremely fitting. i love that you get to see the characters grow and mature especially towards the end.
*spoiler* i saw some people who were thinking she might’ve ended up marrying Kou but i don’t think she did because the words above the panel say “it was just a thought” or something along those lines which leads me to believe the ending she wanted with him didn’t happen (in the pages before her thoughts made it seem like she was hoping to get with him in the end). also the fortune teller’s prediction didn’t make it seem like they were gonna get together in the end.
Hi! When I first read the ending (literally years ago) I was a bit confused about the ending! But let me explain what I got from it ahah

I like your thoughts about the endings of this amazing story, but I don't know if your assumptions are correct. Like, the translation of the last page is a bit off. The news actually said that Natsume married a wealthy business man from her childhood town, so they are likely talking about Kou, as the Hasegawa family is the only rich one in that town. Moreover, when Natsume won that Movie Award we see her wearing a bracelet with a small white bead (the bead that Kou gave her), so they never lost contact between them. (and this is what I like to think, but we will never know, as Asakura-sensei will never tell us what really happened)
i already saw it on tik tok but wow still so amazing (≧∀≦) also the art is just immaculate
God me too, but i still loved it ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
