Keeping the art and smexy scenes aside can we actually talk about how freaking great this story is. No doubt the whole historical background makes the story more interesting but the fact that instead of NK falling for SH after sleeping with him only once the author actually is taking a realistic approach in it. Yea he likes getting fvcked by SH but you can still tell that he isn't deeply in love with him which tbh would be quite unrealistic. His feelings for SH is developing slowly and steadily just like it happens irl. The pace of the story is not too stretched out but at the same time everything is not happening in a hurry which tbh ruins many yaoi stories. Most yaoi stories tend to make the main leads fall quite quickly which kinda makes the story bland. Byeonduck is a great storyteller bc she is taking her time to develop their characters and making us anticipate what's going to happen next, it isn't making us bored but rather we are excited about what is going to happen in the next chapter. The chapters are interesting and at the same time unpredictable which makes this story the best yaoi manhwa ever.

I've been reading this story since it had like 12 13 chaps and every week I keep waiting for some sort of character development in Seungho or Nakyum and I've been waiting for more than 1 and half year and honestly at this point it's just frustrating. Every time SH takes one step forward the next chapter he takes 2 steps back and I've been waiting for so long for them to actually communicate and it's absurd how they haven't ever talked to each other in one chapter without fvcking and it's kinda pissing me off. Whenever they have any sort of conversation it's under the influence of drugs or alcohol and they have never had one actual heart to heart talk without fvcking. Also I find it kinda weird how easily NK fell out of love for IH and fell in love with SH. At this point I feel like I'll drop this manhwa bc it's too soul sucking for me (no hate to the author)
