first, i was worried it was gonna be shitty and she’d fall in love with her captor and it’d be a whole stockholm syndrome thing cuz in the beginning it sounded like it would be. she was always afraid he’d hurt her and she always felt like walking on egg shells. i’m glad he redeemed himself.
second, i cried so hard multiple times. the first time i cried was when ML felt so guilty for the pain he inflicted on FL. i didn’t feel bad for him because he deserved to feel bad. the second time i cried was when he was turning her into a vampire because he didn’t want to lose her. i felt bad then because it showed how FL was truly the only one in his life that showed genuine love towards him.
finally, some plot holes here and there but it’s a good read. i don’t regret reading it at all! <3
