the real question, and there is no definitive answer in the text for this...but the real question is does Minho actually enjoy this sex torture to some degree or not? cause if not then yeah his punishment does not fit his crimes. since his crimes were verbal abuse not sexual abuse. (and ofc she already cheated on him back then which i'd argue is sufficient punishment. that and like NEVER speaking to him again. but then we wouldnt have a comic lol). However if minho DOES enjoy this even if he hates that he does and in fact would prefer they engage in a softer type of D/S or S&M play then this isnt a real punishment at all and in fact isnt rly related to what he did to doona in the past, yeah its why she feels angry/bitter towards him and also ~love~ but...lbr she was a sadist from the start. it hasnt been released in english yet but you'll see she in her first foray into kinky sex, her natural inclination is to sadism. albeit not as vicious as what she does to minho, but that was even to a guy she LIKES and has no issues with. luckily unlike haesol, wookyung can p much take whatever doona throws at him. anyway i think its unfair to categorize Minho was a victim with no agency of his own. i dont like all the sex acts that went down in the hotel (either these or the first confrontation in a diff hotel) but i cannot fathom minho going so far as to shove her and kiss her and get up in her face shouting and get SO worked up at her and...not want some kind of reaction from that. was that an outrageous reaction? sure. but Minho def wanted her to react to him, to give him attention and to touch him. now like i said how much of what he does with doona is enjoyable to him or not is not something the actual comic ever tells us. even what we get of his thoughts is him just bitching or being scared/angry/embarassed/etc or what have you. (but the author herself said the person she based minho on was someone whose thoughts she couldnt understand, so that really does explain why minho as written so difficult to understand lol). but yeah i dont feel bad for minho but i also dont think he deserves to suffer like this (unless that's what he wants. but ofc we'll never rly know if it is or not. we just gotta drawn our own conclusions)
