YESSSS OML IT IS SO GOOD YOU SHOULD DEF READ IT. SO basically mc is kind of a junior lawyer and he focuses more on smaller cases and works more based on civil rights violations. But he has this sister who he rlly cares about make some connections for him so he has to go work at this other company where ml is a higher up. Basically the ml doesn't agree with his way of working and kinda hates him since he prefers to be more objective and calculating, and thinks on a bigger scale; so he's kinda like the opposite of mc. This company also deals with bigger cases that can make them a lot of profit. So the story is based around mc learning to work at his new company while compromising with the ml, and ofc through the process the characters grow and so does their relationship.
It's very interesting since it focuses a lot on the legal plot while slowly building up the characters romance. They have a lot of tension and it's really fun to watch. The cases they take on also go very into depth and are rlly interesting imo. Totally recommend.
hi so quick spoilers for the fl. i saw on wuxiaworld that eventually mc does end up with reina by the end of the novel which is honestly really annoying and disappointing, although predictable. the person who commented who stated they were fully caught up said that the romance wasn’t a main focal point, which is good but i hope the manhwa goes in a different direction. their chemistry is honestly so bland with a lot of the women in this cause mc is nice to everyone
maybe it will get better with time because the novel has about 1000 chapters but i wish action comics didn’t add romance every time
Reina sexually assaulted the mc while he was drunk and asleep so I really hope that’s not a focal point. Kind of gross that’s the way this is going
no fr it’s so frustrating and i hate how normalized the whole “kissing someone while they’re drunk/sleeping” thing is such a common trope in any kind of media. it’s really not cute or romantic unless you’re in alr committed relationship where it’s established that both parties like it :(
