You thank them but if the previous translator drop this because they got snipped will you still be thankful? It's really rude to snip someone else's translation, i might understand if they posted their translation after no update at all for one month, but the last update was on october 12 (means it's less than 2 weeks), and this new translator just did it on a whim and even said they won't translate again, super rude, if they want to do translation at least translate other comic that hasn't been translated by anyone, not snipping someone else's project like this

Besides i'm not even one of those who overly simping a translator group if they neglect their project for more than a month, but it's just 12 days

All I was saying, was that they translated it doing their best, Because it’s better than I could ever do. They said they won’t continue so I’m just letting them know thank you for trying. I’m not begging for them to do more and I’ll still be waiting for the other translators to translate. It’d suck if other translators drop it, but if they drop it just because someone else did it, then that’s on them. I try to make do with what is given to me. Thank you for your opinion on the update, cuz this was my opinion and I respect if you don’t agree.

Yeah agree or disagree i get that everyone worked hard (both new and previous translator), the thing is the new translator trampled on previous translator's hard work for posting theirs only in 12 days, it's honestly annoyed me so i came out so harsh, but come to think of it maybe the new translator just doesn't know

But from the credit, you'll know that the previous translator doesn't just translating, but also cleaning, redrawing, proof-reading, checking the quality, etc... An instagram translator said only translating and editing a chapter took 20 hours (and they don't even redraw the sfx), the previous translator of this manhwa done everything which most likely took days for them to translate, updating once a week will be ideal, but if they're really busy it can take more days, imagine doing all that hard work and have someone else snip for a whim

I mean yes i understand the manhwa doesn't belong to the previous translator, and someone might called the rule to 'claim' the manhwa stupid, but if you can empathize to the new translator, maybe you can empathize to the previous translator as well and see why it's rude, yes both worked hard, but well... i hope you get the idea of what i meant

Yea I 100% agree with you. It’s very rude to suddenly upload a chapter of a manhwa another group is working on. What if the original group is almost done scanlating this chapter? Now there’s no point in uploading it since someone sniped that chapter from them and their hard work went to waste. Speedcat is a well known scanlation group that works on multiple manhwas so I will patiently wait for them to put out a new chapter even if it make take awhile since they’re working on many other manhwas that I love. If this person really wanted to put out a chapter they could of uploaded it to instagram instead of sniping another group :/.
