I don't like these kingdoms who summon heroes just to satisfy their needs. I mean I get that they are in serious danger but can't you also think of the people you have abducted from another world whatever despite calling it "fate" "duty" "given by god" crap? Atleast ask properly not commanding them or whatnot, dispatching to dangerous places without proper preparation, seriously wtf. They're basically slaving them away without asking their consent like excuse me? If I was the one summoned in those kind of stories and I'm told I need to cuz I'm a hero/saintess then I'd probably bluff all I can and demand things for me to do their "distress". Better yet, I'd just be damned, I will just escape like hell and die if I ever get caught.

100% agree. All of them are BS. You kindnapped someone then force that someone to work w/ their live on the line like bitch it's your country so you solve your own shit..if the one summoned is the type that doesn't care or like being hero & stuff that's fine but most of them didn't want that..not to mention, if they didn't want to do it they will get punish..& even if they did the job & get it all done, it's not like the hero will be free after that. They still couldn't go home, some are force to join politics, some are being push by aristocrate to marry their daughter & shit....like their daughter have any other value other than being spoil shit
