Lol. The first time he popped up I thought he might be a possible love interest for Yuri in the future. But after the time skip he acted so strangely possessive over a girl he took charge of and more or less raised, and her being so uncomfortable with his affections, any interest in this ship just evaporated for me. Her being uncomfortable made me uncomfortable. And as soon as Aenon popped into the picture I knew that he would be the ml, despite his flaws. And honestly I like that he has flaws. Him turning cold and so unlike himself (from what we’ve seen until then) when he thought Yuri molested that girl, was an actually amazing story/character moment imo. It showed that he’s not just some dumb puppy dog, who will stand up for every stranger because he likes them. It was very realistic of him to react that way. And I think many people were so shocked about it because we don’t expect an ml to react like this after a tenuous amiable acquaintanceship has been established with an MC. We expect an ml to stand up for the MC, trusting in their goodness unquestionably, even though they just met a couple days ago. And I personally think that’s the reason for all this Lester support, because he loves Yuri and supports her. But I can’t just ignore the slight creeper energy coming from him. And I also can’t ignore Yuri being uncomfortable with his advances. So no for “Lester the Molester”. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
