Its a litte further down in the comments but basically Connie (the only "nice" lady from the orphanage) killed Leonia's mom since she was also in love with the red headed noble (ch 91) thats Leonia's bio dad. Apparently she's an assassin and has actually been pretending to take care of the kids while acting selling them off.
