I just checked. From the tweet, the author commissioned someone else to do it and that this thing is the fan event they mentioned last week or so. Not sure how I feel about it 'cause I don't really like the art.
I actually like the art a lot, but it is super different. I think it's great to see the Warehouse characters from a polar opposite style. My only criticism would be that Snohyun (snake Dohyun) is really manic compared to canon Dohyun... But since the artist is popular it's getting lots of retweets I hope it ends up generating positive attention for Warehouse.
What I thought was interesting was that the author just tweeted there are hints as to what is to come in Warehouse in the doujinshi. Spoilers for the doujinshi if you want to read it blind:

It is a totally different scenario. Sungho is an actual child at first in this and there's no rape even if Sungho is still a bastard when he's grown up. Dohyun doesn't have memory problems. Also, Dohyun doesn't have magical powers in Warehouse that we know of and Sungho will probably not accidentally turn him into a dragon. So I don't think the utterly heart-rending ending will reflect the future in Warehouse. Although I'm sure it'll be heart-rending.
What really stood out to me was that Sungho's scar is self-inflicted. He tries to stab himself in the mouth and Dohyun stops him. In this there's a specific fantasy reason that can't be the case in actual Warehouse, but I've always had the theory that after Dohyun broke up with him, Sungho attempted self-harm or suicide and Dohyun witnessed it, causing his scar and for Dohyun to suppress all his memories of Sungho. Maybe there is a clue here? There's a lot to look at.

Yes, the plot is that although Dohyun is called a dragon by the villagers, he is actually just a snake. He wants to become a dragon so he makes a promise with little Sungho that when Sungho turns 15 (? I'm bad at translating time terms lol) he will say the words "You're not a dragon," to him, which will turn him into a dragon. But since dragons are higher beings that can't be seen or touched by humans, Sungho refuses to do it and even tries to stab himself in the mouth. But at the end, Sungho accidentally said it while going on a rant...because Sungho has to suffer as much as possible. XD

Yeah I really hope there is a happier ending than this...especially since in real life setting the only way for Dohyun to go where Sungho can't reach him anymore is by dying. I think it is a really sad ending...although Dohyun got what he wanted, Sungho was desperate and pitiful up to the end, begging Dohyun not to leave him... ;_;
I think in actual Warehouse it's kind of moved past the point where the doujin ends though? In the doujin Sungho is totally in denial that he can't lock Dohyun up forever, but in Warehouse Sungho almost killing Dohyun and then having to leave the warehouse might help him snap out of his crazed state. Or he'll just get worse, lol, so I guess we'll find out in October.
I'm going to read it a bit more but my general impression is that Sungho became a Captain of some sort not because he cared about protecting the town or anything. It was all just to catch Dohyun. (lol Obsessed much even in an alternative universe.) Sungho promised to Dohyun to turn him into a dragon when he was young with the magical words. Fifteen years later, Dohyun came to see Sungho when the time came only to be captured. Dohyun wanted to go back to the wood because Sungho didn't keep his promise but Sungho was kinda like... I'll keep you locked up for the rest of your life. Didn't you say the forest is like a prison to you. If you're in a prison and tied to the ground, I'd like to tie you to me lol.
Also, I think that Dohyun isn't a snake. He's just not yet a dragon and is in human form. He wants to become a dragon so bad lol.
He is apparently an imoogi (the title of the comic is Imoogi Tale). I did basic research which says in Korean mythology an imoogi is a proto-dragon which wants to become a dragon...so it checks out.

This should apply to every other series too imo. Fans need to understand how an author or mangaka struggles to come out with a new chapter w/in the deadline. Mangaka get sick all the time because they wanted to finish their work and fulfil the fans' 'needs'. We'd be doing a huge favor by understanding them and supporting them in any way possible (tweeting them, if you could afford it maybe buy their works legally etc). Chill guys...

He couldn't kill him with his "power" though. It wasn't possible. At the end of each story in Jigoku Shoujo I felt somewhat empty and filled at the same time. It wasn't the perfect way to end it, but I accepted them.
