I caught up with the 6 new chapters on Ridi and let me tell you something. All this talk about Jin losing his memories or pretending to have lost his memories are just a bunch of nonsense combined. Mfs had me stressing for NO reason.
Jin is simply pushing Matthew away to protect him and I’m guessing some people took Matthew’s crisis as not being remembered by Jin in general. In reality it was actually about their past together in the orphanage. Mind you, when Jin gained consciousness, the first thing he did was worry about Matthew’s safety AND we know Jin already remembered him from the orphanage in the ending of S1. There’s genuinely no reason to believe that the story took the overdone amnesia route, unless you have the comprehension skill of a dumbass bird bruh
