My first question was about eddie. If he really killed the Leo or not. It seems like he wasn t because in the novel he was a curuel King who uses his subjects as stepping stone and a person he lusts after his brother. During the peace talks he assumes that ray is son of Leo, and says it was the duke killed his father. The happened to stay for a bit and ray meets Evan, a guy who changes his apperance. Actually he has blue eyes and he is blonde and eddie use him for s*x. Most of the people of him was aware of it.
And after his that eddie becomes more curuel with people, and restless with headaches and insomnia. I guess they change it because imply of in*est etc.

I am still angry with him because he break our cinnamon rolls heart not once but twice. But he is also understandable because having first experience about love and feeling confused about your swxuality might hard at the same time. i know i am biased but i clearly understand uke. for who despise superiority and trying to surpass him/ her inferiority desparetely, this kind of relationship is a nightmare. the character portrayed so good in this way.
i understand him because i felt sometimes also like this. it was not a relationship but a friendship. i was under pressure of my family in highschool and they wanted me to best- especially in the academics. i wasnt that bad clearly, i was in the first half usually but my best friend was in the school's first. i liked her, thats why we were best friends clearly but sometimes i also felt like i hate her. always my family was like " she is not even taking some sulemantary classes, you have tutors" when i hear this kind of thinks i reaaally hate her. i am very ashamed to say that but i couldn't bring myself to get a grip. i am pretty mediocre but ego is fucking messed up. and after the highschool we still attend the same school but we stop contacting because i know i was not doing something good and feel like it is better for her to have a new best friend.
thats why i understand and like jiho. he is not the best kind of character but he is the normal person with sometimes worst mood swings. he likes him but he doenst want to accept his superiority to him so he is trying to control him. it is a clearly toxic but it is still understandable

yes i think so. he is desperatly trying to accomplish something and he has a lot of thoughts and or so also. even if its not like that; portraying a relationship with any type of struggles, mood swings and the other things is a bit off. and also like you said lots of people even not saying anything to rape, beating or gore after some "character development" but if uke have some existential crisis or something they dont want to see anything about uke because they suppose to be cute little bunnies
right? the standard that the mc's main purpose is to actively pursue their love for the ml and that their own personality out of the romance should come secondary, if even, frustrates me.

The kidnappers also adopted and tried to switch his soul but arsian had already put him a tracking spell - because camilla likes him very much and also i think he likes too- so he easily Found the kid but the rest of the other children and people was already dead. If i am not wrong duke sephra adopted him because leon reminds him his little son who passed away but.
