Ik ray looks naive but he's also just a kid unlike Dorothy who has been reborn. Idk if he knows the full extent to how the father treats Dorothy but he tries to lover her in his own way. She just seems to ignore him most of the time and doesn't seem to empathize with her brother that the role of king to a child might seem really scary and daunting. Also I expected the Helena/dante to look different cause the cover and her past self looked so much more badass. I would've preferred she'd be born looking like her past self and then have a story with the ML.
