I love everything about the FL, like everything she's going through is such an accurate representation of how many mental blocks and hoops you have to go through to unlearn what that does to you. Like, I think someone said that she's not trying to change, but by golly she is trying so hard. She's constantly going to the library to figure out what she needs to know... It's just that she sucks at it, and man oh man can I relate. She's so relatable to me that it like physically hurts.
Not only does it make me want to cry to know that someone experienced the exact same treatment as I did as a child, but it also so cathartic to see her working so hard to become someone she believes is worth it to receive all of that kindness she is (even though she deserves it regardless)
Like,,, I can not conceive how this would be annoying unless you literally don't empathize or connect with her struggle at all. Like, man she is out here trying her best, making mistakes and learning. If that ain't a Strong Female Lead, then I don't know what is. Open your eyes y'all
exactly!! i feel like this is really a great story, unlike other manhwas where the abused victims just completely recovered which is rlly unrealistic, we can see her grow slowly and actually seeing her dealing with it because in real world traumas wont go away as easy. she’s one of my favourite female lead, she deserves so much
Anyone else feel like Troy might be the ML? She listed him as part of one of her biggest regrets after her death + plus he grieved a lot after her dying. Like, that seems to have a lot of potential there?? Plus he should be 17-18 like the other guy she immediately proposed to, so I assume that's like her target(?) age range (someone not too much older than her considering she's 10) and she gets rejected by all the other dudes we've seen so far.
Another possibility: he's the villain!! Honestly, could be both! Kek
So!! I hate!! Her brothers actually. Like they're giving me all kinds of gross feelings. Like, how dare this man (blonde hair) like her now that she's trying for herself?? Like only now that she's attempting to save herself is she worth care to him?? Like WTF!?
Additionally, both brothers appear to be ADULTS?? (According to the villainess's statement of them being their father's age when she fell in love with him or something??) Like, sure. Neither of them helping the MC when they themselves were children was fine. Forgivable. Children shouldn't have to save other children and be responsible for their things when they're trying to figure out how to be themselves. Whatever.
But like NOW?? What were they waiting for??
Next point, THEIR GRANDFATHER **KNEW**!? And was just like what, "haha, personal growth"?? And then despised her for breaking under the abuse? A powerless child?? Was the one at fault here?? Really?? Fuck this old man, like, for real. He is irredeemable in my eyes. Absolute filth of a man.
Honestly at the beginning of this I thought the villainess was her elder sister or something smh. Going to the grandfather to solve her problems with her step-child? Absolute hooligan. She's the adult here. Why she crying to this old man? She should at a minimum be able to defend herself lol. So like, why would he ever accept her weeping of abuse at the hands of a child that apparently he already knew wasn't at fault??
What the absolute fuck is this family? They're all abusers to me, and you cannot change my mind on that. I hope the MC slits all their throats, but we already know she's gonna make nice with them probably... Gross.
Additionally, this is not me saying I don't believe that there are families like this. The brothers remind me of my own parents approach to children. Where so long as they act in a way that they approve of, are they worth any amount of affection.
So like, what I'm saying is. None of these characters are forgivable for their sins. Even if the MC forgives them, they still killed the original princess. Her blood is still on their hands. She's dead and gone, and although they don't know that. It's still a fact. They killed a little girl because they would rather watch her drown than take her out of the lake.
I'm amazed how some readers ignored the fact that MC's family was neglectful to her resulting being abused by the people around her to the point of killing herself yet STILL like the grandpa and brothers bc they started acting fucking cute with MC? what the absolute fuck, indeed. Child abused and suicide are serious matters that shouldn't be simply disregarded.
ML: god she's so stupid *starts undressing*
