I explained, but "silence means consent" wasn't referring to the assault but to his question that Mimori enjoyed the kiss. I think if i ask my partner "did you like the kiss?," and all I receive is silence and then an apology, I won't be able to understand it in any other way except confirmation that they did enjoy it, or even that they cheated.
