I just finished watching season 1 of the anime and I’m wondering if I should read this before season two comes out. I know it’ll come out next year so I’m hesitating because that’s a long time and I wanna know what happens + be able to be in the fandom without getting spoiled.

Well that’s was fast. This one felt a bit lacking even though they had potential. If I’m not wrong the senpai was also in love with Kouhei right? I’m looking foward to his story.
I mean their obsession is unhealthy but it’s probably a pattern of attachment that’s been ingrained from trauma. The rape was really bad, I’m not going to excuse that but I think that they are suited for each other. It’s a different case when a partner is yandere with someone that doesn’t want it but here they both understand each other’s insecurities and try to work around it. Like how Ryou knows that locking Yuta up is bad and that he runs away for Yuta’s sake and when Ryou was jealous, Yuta made sure to reassure him. It’s like they cancel each other’s toxicity out because they’re so similar.
