haven't read a book this bad in a long time.... at least the art was good at the end...somehow all the characters were unbearable. it was weird how characters would gloss over things you'd think would be impactful to the story yet somehow those same characters would overreact to little occurrences. don't get me started on the "relationship". it's was so icky from the start and it never got better... boy's got a case of stockholm syndrome. the plot is all over the place and you could never make out the characters intentions. characters were so complicated yet so one dimensional, zero to no character growth . feel as if side/new characters were introduced for no reason at all. everything that these characters were supposed to add to the story came to nothing at the end. the mcs were so bad. for example they both seem to never have a single thought in their minds. the mc had to backbone at all and seemed to have bravery at literally the most unimportant moments. the love interest was even worse. the threatens the mc and then questions why he's go scared around him. head empty. he also forces himself on the mc , and at this point the mc thinks he can either give in or ya know literally die, nice. cannot comprehend how anyone can like this. everything about this book was unpleasant. and before anyone says anything. I KNOW it's not real, and not that serious. but i just wanted to let others know not to waste their time like i did xx. unless you're into toxic and gross relationships with characters with no genuine thoughts what's so ever <3

I read this mostly for the art and Doc Dan cause he’s literally a cinnamon roll and I know it gets super toxic so I tend to wait every couple of weeks for the chapters to accumulate before reading it again to make it more bearable. But I think some people read toxic stuff like this to direct their angers at the characters and relieve stress. I mean just because they’re raging doesn’t mean they’re not entertained by the plot lol. Just scroll past them if you don’t like them.
