Even though there were many likes and dislikes in the story, from the characters' behavior to the twisted turn of events.
The one thing that made the story one of the best I've ever read, is the ending.
That small boy that I pitted and though was simply a side character ended up becoming a true hero with the most pure heart in the whole story! (=・ω・=)

I belive the Female lead is experiencing postpartum depresion..
Her sadness, mood swing and her inability to care for Vicente are all symptoms, and it is caused by the hormonal changes she experienced after childbirth.
Her stress levels were also high due to her being alone and constantly pestered by relatives without having any backup.
Also postpartum depresion can interapt the bonding between mother and child, and that leads to a mother reacting negatively towards her child or some times not responding at all.
It is said that mothers with postpartum depression tend to interact less with their babies, and are less likely to breastfeed, play with and read to their child. They may also be incosistent in the way they care for their newborns.
