Ik people are gonna be shook but I actually don’t get irritated when I see her, in fact I pity her more than Eris in some ways. I wonder if she genuinely even likes the prince and company, or it’s just a long going facade and she doesn’t know what’s real or not anymore. I loved that the author gave insight on her point of view, and it really made me rethink her character. Yall going on her for walking in with the prince and shit but don’t forget the old Eris bullied tf out of her and she still kept her head up…they don’t know that this Eris is not from this world, only that she’s acting different. Helena gets points for me, I’m rooting for a truly happy ending for you sis :(
Eris literally dies multiple times because of everyone's mistreatment but you pity the one who gets fawn over by everyone and always gets special treatment, og eris bullied helena but yall acting like she doesn't get mistreated by everyone around her, her family, her cheating fiancee, the bitch empress, eris even gets slapped coz of her and she doesnt even fix the misunderstanding, but naw pity helena more coz she's crying.

I understand that, I absolutely love og Eris and Mc Eris and I really like Helena too, og Eris suffered a lot, true and she has her childish retaliation when she was young being that villainess portrayed in the story and though its wrong, I can understand that and I won't blame her, who will not if your fiancee is seeing some other woman!! Being ignored, insulted and no one to support her, not even her family.
And Helena, she has got it bad too, very bad, the power balance is the worst and moreover if she rejects the prince, that asshole will throw a tantrum and harass the people around her and that mother of hers will probably beat her up so bad!! I won't blame her, afterall, she is submissive because she knows how powerless she is and I'm sure rather than being fawned over she would rather be a maid, Helena probably feels that she is a toy for the royal family. Though even if she gives a half assed retaliation, that prince would be like "aw, playing hard to get ", he doesn't give a shit about her feelings.

yea ig but still getting mistreated isnt an excuse to bully whether its the prince, eris or helena. i think both helena and eris are pitiful but og eris being a bully doesnt sit well with me. i hope both of them get a happy ending honestly
note on comparing pain, you could think of it as eris drowning under deep deep water and helena also drowning but is not so deep in. they are both drowning and it doesnt really matter who is in deeper shit because theyre both dying. which is why i personally think both of them deserve better in their own ways

While I respect your opinion, you gotta remember that Helena’s role is still a commoner, and with her personality (as in she’s the type that doesn’t want to be a burden and pull her own weight), originally it was clear that she was kinda forced to go see the CP all the time and people were literally punished if she arrived late??? The CP literally called her his possession not even his lover, concubine, NO AN ITEM. I’m not trying to compare Eris and Helena’s pain, but what’s clear is that both girls are suffering from the same men and they need to run away together honestly.
