Yooguk is like a spirit world that's why Doujin's cat that died was able to meet him in Yooguk. You have to die or be in a coma in order for you to go to the other world(Yooguk). I feel like yellow dragon wanted Doujin to spend his short life with his family in the real world so that Doujin could finally permanently live with Yellow dragon in Yooguk forever when he die. Yellow dragon gave Doujin a ring so that he won't forget about yellow dragon and still have hope that he will soon finally meet him. The ending wasn't really bad if you really know what is happening. It's actually a treat that his niece was granted to meet his uncle's lover before he die. I am pretty sure that Doujin is living with yellow dragon in Yooguk as an emperor. There's no other spirit world other than Yooguk, if you die in Yooguk your soul will be totally erased or non-existent. In Doujin's case you can see him with yellow dragon in the end that's why I'm 100% sure that Doujin is living with yellow dragon in Yooguk.
