I have a theory idk I’m guessing but maybe Kang Moo knew Kirin from b4 and wanted to do something to him so he was sending threats or pictures of Kirin to his sister. So she went to go intervene and then that’s when she got caught up at the club and was r*ped? That would be sad if that happened and she was trying to protect her brother :((
I don't think so. There's a comment spoiler in one of the chapters where it says kang moo was helping Kirin's sister or something. And things happened when he's in the states. That's also the reason why kang moo is kinda helping Kirin or something like that.

The second couple's development is MUCH MORE interesting and fun to read in comparison to the first couple. You won't regret it. (Although I like both couples to begin with)
